Arrabawn Co-op operates two dedicated feeds mills at Dan O’Connor Feeds in Limerick and Greenvale Animal Feeds in Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Supported by dedicated sales teams and specialist nutritional expertise, Dan O’Connor Feeds and Greenvale Animal Feeds are committed to the manufacture and supply of high quality cubed and coarse feeds for commercial ruminant livestock and premium feeds under the Gowla Premium Horsefeeds and Greenvale brands.

It is our policy to use the ultimate in feed ingredients and select highly digestible ingredients that guarantee consistency and quality in our range of feeds. Each formulation recognises the changing nutrient requirements of the target animal as it grows and develops. The supply of energy is carefully balanced between starch, fibre and oil in each ration. The source and content of protein in each formulation is designed to optimise the amino acid composition to assist muscle development and growth in the growing and fattening animal while ensuring maximum milk production in lactating cows and ewes. Both Dan O'Connor Feeds and Greenvale Animal Feeds are accredited by the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS). In order to achieve this Eurpoean recognised award, both plants maintain specific feed safety and quality standard incorporating a HACCP plan and a complete traceability system that covers all aspects of animal feed production.
