Dan O’Connor Feeds was established in 1848 in Limerick and moved to its present site on Ballysimon Rd in 1972 and has been continuously upgraded ever since. It was run as a family business until 1991 when it was purchased by Nenagh Co – Op.

Alongside this we have the most sophisticated computer controlled systems, handling, and providing traceability of goods, from arrival, through process, and right to delivery on farm.
Dan O'Connor Feeds is accredited by the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS). In order to achieve this Eurpoean recognised standard, the productin facility maintains specific feed safety and quality standards which incorporates a HACCP plan and a complete traceability system, covering all aspects of animal feed production.
We provide a full range of animal feeds for the Ruminant sector, from low volume Summer Grazing enhancers to the most intensive of ad – lib winter diets.
Farmers seeking specific nutritional advice have access to specialist animal requirement and performance software. This programme takes account of forage quality available on the farm, and produces diet specifications needed for the weight gain or milk yield expected by the customer.
